this sounds interesting, what number do you call to do this? and what is the name of the option you need to choose?

nevermind, after a bit of googling i found the info here http://www.o2.co.uk/onlinetariffs
----------------------------
"It's easy to change from Messages to Calls and Messages, simply dial 2425 free from your O2 mobile and follow the instructions, alternatively text ONCALLSMSG to 21300 free.

To change from Calls and Messages to Messages, dial 2425 free and follow instructions or text ONMSG to 21300 free."

Yes; Busymum, I recommend that you read the whole of Muhammid's string to get full info on this!!

He's the expert on this subject!!

I agree that MUHAMID is the expert but I find that thread difficult to follow as it is too long - so can we have a summary?

From what I can gather it is changing between the 2 tariffs (from 300 free texts to 100 mins/texts) by just ONCALLMSG or ONMSG to 2425 and you don't have to top up to get the free mins/texts etc. Am I right?

This topic was discussed before
see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=103168&page=27&pp=10

but look at the result of it in post#267

so,i'm not strongly advising you to go for it.it might work for few hours but then it will cutoff ur balance as well.

Also,
my 250 mins. post is edited and added some more info.

IF YOU THINK ANY INFO IS NOT AVAILABLE IN MY ORIGINAL POST THEN REPLY ME IN MY POST I'M HERE TO HELP YOU.

I am actually glad that this was on a seperate thread. I had already done the bolt ons thanks to earlier thread of Muhammid's. But as already mentioned the original thread is now very long.

Busymum has given information on something that can be done in addition to the bolt on and it was new information for me. If the thread had been amalgamated I would probably have missed this great tip to get free texts as well as the bolt on. So thankyou to Busymum for this thread.

And of course thanks to Muhammid for original bolt on info.

Hi

I know what you saying but when i posted this i thought i replied in MUHMAID thered not creating my own thread. And regarding THANKS... I dont care about thanks as i know i don need them as long as it helps someone to get extra units. I just got online and seen that it created separate thread which was just a accidental mistake.

As for MUHMAID sorry as it never meant to be separate thread if you know how to merge then please do so... Thank you.
