Hi there


I have a vauxhall corsa 51 plate and the front passanger sides indicator light seems to have gone, have reppalced the buld and the holder for the bulb but unsure what to try next, any help grately recieved..

Fuse or flasher unit.

I don't know where they are located in the Corsa. Could be under driver's side of dash, passenger side, or under bonnet. Usually a clear lidded box full of fuses.

If the other indicators are working, it's not the flasher unit or the fuse. The fault lies in the bulb holder or connector in the wiring loom. Chances are it's got corrosion in it. Take it out again and see if there's a white powdery substance in the bulb holder. If there is, clean all inside it with some sandpaper.

It is also possible to get the wrong bulb. Some have the pins on the side of the metal bit level and some offset. If you've got the wrong type, it's possibel the bulb wasn't locked in place and was pushed out of the socket enough that the contact on the base wasn't in contact with the bulb.
