When you registered for MSE, you provided the same, if not more, information unencrypted (MSE uses javascript to md5 the passwords, the rest of the information is sent unencrypted). Every time you send an email you are sending this, if not more, information unencrypted.

The only reason to use a 128-bit encryption certificate is to provide a near unbreakable encryption when sending *confidential* information. This is to hash bank details, credit card details, mothers maiden name etc etc ...

The information on their page isn't confidential to you ... how else would people email you/know your forum name etc? However, you don't go telling people your PIN number, and they aren't asking for that sort of information ...

Me too, yum yum, same flavour.

I took the option of registering immediately at the end of October rather than waiting for November (if I remember correctly, the wording of the offer was a bit ambiguous, making people wonder whether to wait until 1st Nov to register for the best chance of choccy)

Well, the "Go for it now," tactic worked!
The orange ones were sooooooo yummy. Really creamy, yet tangy too. (Know the true MSE thing would have been to make them a stocking filler, but had to try them! :D )
