View Full Version : Stuff for putting on your hair before using GHDs?
hi - sorry, I couldn't think of a better title! I have really frizzy hair which I batter with GHDs every day. Tresamme used to make this heat protection stuff that you spray on your hair before using the GHDs. I have searched through the whole of Perth today and I think they must have stopped making it. Can anyone recommend a similar product? It's stuff that you spray on your dry hair which protects against the heat from the straighteners - if that makes sense. I did stand like a clown in Perth looking at all the different products then got overwhelmed! Thanks.

I use Fashionista Smooth and Shine in the Catwalk line by TIGI. It's an alarming purple colour and smells like pineapple. HTH!

GHD do one themselves, called thermal protector, about £9 or so from salons, but I think hqhair.com sell it too. Obviously depends on how much you want to spend.
As for the avon one, I've tried that before too, but didn't have so much luck with it.
Good luck!
