Are the claims made by toothpaste manufacturers true?Example I won't name the name the brands for example cavity protection is clinically proven to strengthen teeth and help repair weak spots before cavity develops and another toothpaste claims protection from tartar tooth decay and gum disease.

Are these claims true or they are trying to increase their sales?

Bit of both really.

Look for a toothpaste with 1450ppm fluoride. That's the stuff that protects teeth.
