I know the manager of Revival - they're also advertising this on Sovereign Radio where I work. They are a reputable company, who have won several awards for the radio programmes they produce, including First Light, which they produce for Sovereign Radio.

I've seen that film and it's terrible IMO. I hate films where you have to read subtitles anyway.

I can't say I 'enjoyed' the film but its certainly very powerful and I'm glad I watched it. I think Mel Gibson was trying to be true to the time using Aramaic and Latin. I actually felt it was more 'real' then say if everyone spoke in American English. But that is just my opinion.

Yes its great you're all posting where you live but what radio station broadcasts in your area which advertises this and did you order it very recently or before they changed their policy.

Thats what is important!!!

I live in Essex and got one. Daughter also lives in Essex and was told that because stocks are running low they will only send to peeps within listening area.

Could tell them that yer a lorry driver and spend a lot of time in that area I suppose.

Depends how you feel about fibbing to a Christian cause and how worried you are that you wont go to heaven.:)

Well that explains it - I can get Southern FM anyway.

I wouldn't worry about fibbing - Revival Media want you to watch the film - it might even change your life!!!

sainthalo

to be fair that was a throwaway comment/joke from me which i feel a bit bad about!

i wouldnt watch jerry springer the opera as it looks pretty crap and offends christians needlessly based on fiction (just like satanic verses).

i would however watch the passion because it has historical truths behind it even though jewish lobbyists say it offends them - it is truthful to a historical account that the jews had the prophet jesus slaughtered by the romans.

anyway, for those that get one, be sure to share it with others to be fair to the charity. maybe we could set up a viewing thread here to share it amongst members (like pass it on to the next member) - it would only cost 21p to post it on to others!

(im not christian in case anyone thinks im biased)

Got the passion dvd today - thanks to the guys at Revival and those who donated funds to allow this offer :)

Now to find out what happened to Jesus (or prophet Isa as he is known and accepted in Islam).

Im sure Revivals plan is to get this DVD shared with others so if you're grateful then lend your copy to others :)

A big thanks to revival for letting us moneysavingexperts have copies too! Im sure we deluged you with requests on a larger scale than you anticipated!

Did anyone else complete the survey after watching the DVD?

Well I received my free gift for completing that survey at the weekend! It's a CD-ROM called 'Jesus - the Man Behind the Millenium' - it'll be a nice gift for one of my more religious relatives ;) !

I was one of the first to get one even though i live outside the area. Without opening it i repackaged it and sent it away to a friend of mine for birthday/Christmas present. Unfortunately it "dissappeared" whilst in the care of the Post Office and was never seen again !
