From the Coors website:

Coors is bursting into the festive season with a massive free pint glass offer on interactive TV. Launching on Friday 2nd December, the promotion aims to improve the in-home drinking experience for thousands of Coors drinkers across the UK.

The stylish, embossed Coors glass is specially toughened so it can be safely frozen in a domestic freezer for the perfect ice cold drinking experience and the base is laser etched to keep a great head to the last drop of every pint.

The ‘Ice City’ TV advertising campaign drives home the message that the lighter tasting 5% abv premium lager offers drinkers immediate and ‘Epic Refreshment’. Viewers of the ad will simply have to click on the interactive red button to claim their free branded Coors pint glass.

The first interactive ad is on air in a prime time slot on Friday 2nd December, during ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ - watched by around 9 million people.

Stuart Renshaw, Senior Brand Manager for Coors, said: “This is the biggest ever interactive promotion Coors Brewers has launched on any brand, offering over 50,000 high quality glasses to Coors drinkers across the UK.

“By providing consumers with a free pint glass, they can experience the ice cold refreshment of Coors at its best, every time they drink it at home.

“Coors advertising demonstrates the effect Coors’ crisp, light refreshing taste can have when it is served ice cold. It shows a hot, sticky New York being hit by a refreshing blast of ice cold refreshment that starts with a guy taking a drink from an ice cold bottle of Coors.”

The Ice City campaign also reinforces the brand’s American heritage, building on both its TV sponsorship of the NFL American Football League and SKY’s gritty blockbuster series Deadwood, which was set in the same era as Coors was first brewed to quench the thirst of the pioneers back in 1873.

Cheers, just ordered one.

It's about time I got something from them. Not bad, pay over £600 a year and get a glass free.
