removal of mirena coil

Just wanted to know what side affects there are after removal of coil. There seems to be loads of info of side affects when coil is in. Had mine removed recently, this is my second one. After 3 years of my second one, things didnt seem right, constant period pains and mood swings started. Had it removed last week. Still moody and now my stomach has bloated and look about 5 months pregenant. Has anyone experienced this, most other people seemed to experience this when the coil was fitted not removed. Maybe I'm just strange!!!!!!!!!:D Awaiting dr's appointment.

I had mine removed last Thursday and also feel a little bloated. Had a withdrawal bleed from Saturday up until yesterday and feel fine otherwise. I know one of the side effects I had was weight gain (approx 2st over 3 years) despite regular exercise and good diet so I am just eager for the extra llbs to drop off now so I'm not really welcoming a bloated tummy:eek:

Hopefully things will settle down over the next couple of weeks. Will keep you updated.

I'm going to wait for my cycle to get back to normal and then ttc baby number 3.:D
