Can anyone recommend a good place to get hard skin removed? Sorry that sounds disgusting, but no amount of scrapping gets rid of it! The beauty therapists don't scrape hard enough if I get a pedicure, so any recommendations of somewhere that can help gratefully received.

Thanks so much

Is it a chiropodist you want? Might need to change title of your thread for more relevant help

Lol yeah it's a chiropodist you want lou
I find a corn and callous knife available in Boots invaluable
Dont pay a chiropodist to do what you can do yourself for £3 something

Soak your feet first, its so much easier
Good luck

Hope you don't mind, I have edited the title for you ...

I sometimes go the chiropodist in the Rieker shoe shop in Bristol. Tried to google to see where else they have them, but failed, and it's too late to spend much time on that for you.

Agree with cillitbanger that a regular soak and scrape yourself will be worthwhile.

You may also find a special foot moisturising cream useful.

But remember that the skin on the soles of your feet does need to be a little bit tougher than elsewhere, because even though we wear shoes and socks it still takes a fair bit of abuse!
