This has been around for ages and the service is terrible, I was with them in September/October.

LoveFilm are doing 44 days trial with more selection and better service.

There are enough free rentals to keep you going for over a year, check www.dvdtrials.co.uk

Have to agree with R.Sole on this one. BlockSendingMeDVDs are terrible.

I was 3 weeks into the 1 month trial.....until today. It all started off promisingly enough. Registered, made my choices, activated my wish list. Got 4 DVDs in 9 days but despite picking out and posting me my next choices off the list automatically........nothing happened. ...for the next 10 days!

If you walked to a DVD / Video rental shop for 10 days to get a film and everyday it was closed, you wouldnt bother anymore.

Blockbusters? I wouldnt bother anymore.

the Blockbuster trial service is Okay as long as you dont fill your list with brand new dvds as they simply wont send out brand new dvds to triallists.

How do you know that they won't send out new DVD's to people on the free trial?

I think it more likely they don't have enough copies, and as you are not with them long enough, you won't have time to get to top of the que for that particular DVD.

On free trials I think it's best to stick with movies that have been out for a couple of months already.

Good point about trying to rent out new DVDs on a trial basis but all my three choices were documentaries that were definitely not new. The listing does tell you when you pick a title that its out of stock at the moment....so I rearranged the list to get the in-stock DVDs first.

Didnt make a blind bit of difference.

If and when I ever need to go on a diet I'll order my food from BB. That way I'm bound to lose weight!!!

I am sorry I have to disagree. i have had free trials with lovefilm, screen select and blockbuster. I have found the blockbuster service excellent. Very quick turn round with the discs and have got most of my 1st choices.

Hii

I signed their offer. I got thr first 2 DVDs and after watching them I posted them at the same postbox at the same time. But only one of the movies reached the blocbuster team (as per their email) It is 4 days now and still they havent received the other movie. I am worried that they may charge me for the first month if it doesnt reach them or they may charge me for the lost in polst DVD.

I cannot report lost in post as they require at least 10 days gap between the posted date n report. But in 10 days time my free trial wud be over!!!!

Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks
