I am in the process of getting insurance, I have a VW polo 1.4 SE but I don't know whether it is 16 valve or 75 bhp? How do I find out which mine is as it apparently makes a different to the price. I don't remember being asked this in the past. I have looked on my V5 and it doesn't state either of these how else can I find out? Have also looked in documents that came in car and doesn't state. Is there anywhere I can find this out free/quick so I can sort out my insurance?
Thanks
Conor

Take the engine number and chassis number to a VW dealership who should be able to tell you.

When you put in the reg into the quote it will automatically put in the car details for you from the DVLA database. Sometimes the database is wrong.......
