Got a new nectar card last week and the offer came with it, says on the voucher no coupon req`d so they should just credit your card once youve had the eye test, look on nectar site to confirm you can get it

Thanks to the OP for this, it's a good one.
Don't forget that if you use a VDU at work you employer has to pay for your eye tests.
Remember also that even if you don't think you need glasses an eye test can discover various non-obvious disorders/diseases (like glaucoma) which you really will want to find out about as soon as possible. See: http://www.healthyeyes.org.uk/index.php?id=21 for a little more info. Get your eyes tested, it's worth it.

Is that a uni student or would a college student get this as well?
what proof do you have to provide that you are a student?
Thanks

They just asked me if I am a student and when I said yes, they asked for NUS card. If you are in college, then just phone them and ask.

All the voucher says is "To earn these nectar points, simply show your nectar card attime of purchase" 2000 nectar points when you have an eye test. as D & A get paid for the test (even by inland revenue or Dss) i should think you are entitled to claim the points

You should look for a cheaper alternative for your specs anyway Karnam, but you are entitled to take your prescription from whoever supplies it and buy your specs anywhere you want to,check martins tips on cheapest opticians

sez on back of mine (which came direct from nectar) that you must spend £20 on an eye test or in one transaction. Seems resonable to assume that an exemption isnt a discount as they still get paid by government so i`ll be demanding politely that i get my points, let u all know how i get on
