Hi All
I need to give major services to several cars and have heard Synpower gear oil very highly recommended for Subarus with a notchy change (2 of the cars are Subarus with notchy change). I've tried Silkolene's synthetic gear oil in them before and it's useless so I know I want exactly this Valvolene stuff or I'd try Castrol's fully synthetic if I really can't get the Valvolene. My problem is I need 13L of the stuff and from all the sources I've tried I can only get 1L bottles at £10+ a time. Is this stuff available in bigger bottles or maybe even a small barel? I'd buy 25L if at the right price! I buy synthetic engine oil in this way (Fuchs barels from Eurocarparts) and save a packet, but I can't find the gear oil anywhere. Any ideas?
