Hello steps40
I'll move your thread to the 'Health & Beauty' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=1009335#post1009335)) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com (abuse@moneysavingexpert.com).

I'm not big on paying fortunes for fancy boxes with tiny amounts of product which may or may not work, but, a friend of mine who is approaching 60 has lovely skin and when asked, she told me that she uses Olay Regenerist Daily Serum.
I was a little put out when I saw the price, but found some in a local chemist with a battered box which had been substantially reduced so I bought it.
It promises dramatic results in 3 weeks - and though I was sceptical, I used it morning and night for 3 weeks before my holidays in April and I was very impressed with the results.
I don't have wrinkles as such (I'm pleased to say) but it has definitely made a difference to the tone and general look of my skin - in fact, for the first time in my entire life, someone told me I had lovely skin.........I was very chuffed as you can imagine and have been using the serum ever since.
Incidentally, well done on your fantastic weight loss :T

I watched a program about anti wrinkle creams and they all promised the world- they tested 5 creams from 5-200 pounds. after all the tests it revealed that they actually gave you MORE wrinkles!!! The moral of the story is- dont buy them. All you need to try and deter wrinkles it to keep the area hydrated so i have found that aloe vera gel is the best thing (you can buy it from holland & barratt for about 3 pound). Its not sticky it leaves your skin very smooth. Its alo great for scars, dry patches, burns etc. A wonder gel in my opinion!!

I agree with Stompa the Aldi one is excellent, this is coming from someone who was a diehard Dior fan................The smell isn't so pleaseant as the Dior one, but it certainly does a fantastic job.
Well done on your weight loss, you must be so proud of your self.

Firstly, well done on the weight loss!
Secondly, I watched the same programme as dickoa and I have to say I agree with his/her post. I don't think anti-wrinkle creams work and all you need is a decent moisturiser. Aloe Vera gel is good, but I prefer a cream - I am currently using Superdrug Vitamin E cream which has an SPF10 (I think) and is £2.49. At night I use Astral, which is also very cheap (99p for a small pot and a couple of quid for a bigger one).
I tried the Aldi one but it made my face burn.

I have been studying the Aldi creams on my blog and I am quite impressed by them. I can't endorse the fragrance, but the bases are pretty good.
