Has anyone tried the above moisturiser as at the moment it is half price and was wondering if it was worth a try. I have combination skin and get an oily forehead with the rest of my face being what I would consider normal.

Hi,
I use lots of Avon products. I haven't tried that one but I'm defintely a Avon convert. I love their eye cream , day cream and night cream and facial wash all from the Avon solutions range. I have also just bought their alcohol free toner and resurfacing Anew facial wash. I say go ahead!:j

hi,
I'm a rep so of course i'm going to say try it! But what you can do is ask your rep for a sample as avon do sample sizes of most creams. Or other than that is to buy the full size product (which I recommend if it is half rice at the mo) and if you do not like it avon do offer full refunds.
I'm not saying that you will but can I also add that reps have to pay for the samples so just incase people think they can ask for loads please don't. Please only ask for ones that you really are interested in buying. Just that before I once had a customer who wanted different samples every week and more than one. Reason being so she had enough not to buy any of the products!!
Funnily I quickly stopped that when it was coming out of my commision!!

Elmostreet I also use lots of Avon products but was just wondering if anyone knew what this particular product was like. I always thought if I was to try any of the face creams I would try the solutions range especially over the Anew range as it is cheaper but they have changed the range so much over the last few months that it's difficult to keep up with it all.
Happy nutter, I know what you mean about the samples as I used to be an Avon rep myself. This may sound strange but I don't see my local rep as my hubby gets funny about me buying Avon so I have to do it on the quiet which usually means ordering it online. Would I be able to get some samples if I got in contact with the CS at Avon?

You can try to ask avon direct. I think a lot of peole have been asking for samples lately some have been lucky some have not. Always worth a try.
Do you know who your local rep is? Most reps are ok with coming round at times that suit you. I personally have a customer who doesn't tell her hubby about all her order - normally only half!! So I'll always txt her during working hours to let her know her order is in and she will then let me know when her hubby is out so I can take the order round and she then removes half of it out the bag!!!

I have only seen a book from my local rep once but like I said hubby doesn't like me buying it so I have to do it on the quiet. Because he usually gets home from work before me I've not seen a book since so don't know if it's him or the rep has given up as I think this is a different one to who used to do it.
Being a rep previously I have been a bit of a hoarder and have more Avon I can shake a stick at apart from the things I have just started running out of/low of i.e. face cream, but it wouldn't matter if it was good for my skin or not hubby would still get funny. That's why previously I have ordered it on-line and gotten it delivered to work. I have been quite good recently and not ordered anything for about the last three months.
It was quite convenient as a girl from work her mum has an Avon lady and she used to pass my orders on but unfortunately she's just handed in her notice and leaves on Friday. Obviously someone up there is keeping an eye on me :rotfl:

Would your hubby mind if you became a rep again?? As you would be able to take it into work as you don't have a rep there? Most men won't mind if you are making a bit of extra money.
Can I ask what his problem is with you buying avon?

Yes he would mind. Despite me telling him I was making x amount of money he turned it into an hourly rate and said it wasn't worth doing it. He's into big brand names and doesn't see Avon the same way. He's very much one of these people who is always right and always has to have the last say. Saying that he does have his good points :rotfl:
Wouldn't be very lucrative at work anyway as I work for a very small company.
Will just have to keep doing it online. At least that way it stops me spending more money than I should :rotfl:
