Hi,
Ive been recently dieting and was told by a very good freind of mine to try lecithin with cereal and in other foods. You just basically sprinkle it on certain foods and it is SUPPOSED to break down fat.

Now ive been trying this for two months or so, and as well as doing the normal routine excercisory stuff i have ACTUALLY lost weight. But im not sure if lecithin has anything to do with it or not.

I was just wondering how many people have tried it and feel the same or know things that my ignorant mind bypasses..lol:D

There is no scientific research that shows that lecithin aids in weight loss. In fact, lecithin supplements may actually cause weight gain due to the fact that it contains fatty acids and is thus highly caloric. There is just no validity to the rationale behind the weight loss claim. Lecithin makes sure that the fat and cholesterol that is travelling through the blood stream stays solvent in the water so that it will not attach to the artery walls. Even though lecithin does disperse fat in water and keeps fat from clogging the cardiovascular system, this does not mean that the subcutaneous fat that we associate with being overweight is just dissolved and flushed out by lecithin.

Reduce your refined carbohydrate intake and you allow your body to use the fat that is stored. None of my weight loss had anything to do with exercise at all. Exercise is not an option for me.

If I can lose 2.25lb each week without exercising at all, so can everyone else.
