Hiya,:hello:

I had a hunt on the hair threads in the mega index, but couldn't see anything about thickening hair.

Does anyone know of any recipes for a home made hair thickener. A treat I used to allow myself was John Frieda's hair thickening spray, but at a fiver a bottle, I've given it up!

I saw one recipe after a massive google trawl here (http://www.pioneerthinking.com/rht27.html), involving rice water for starch, but wondered if any OS-ers had any alternatives.

Thanks in advance!

Weezl x

PS the hair hasn't got any thinner on my new challenge, honest!

Hi, there  I'll move this over to the Health and Beauty Board, where you'll get more responses.

Hi Weezl, try asking on the Health and Beauty board, or have a nosy through the Boots thread on the Grabbit board. I know Boots can be dear for some things, but if you were to buy any necessaries (is that a word) ;) and save the points you could maybe get enough for a treat.
Mobile top ups gain points in Boots, or...better still, are you on Pigsback, you could cash in your Piggy points for a Boots voucher.

Hi Weezl

Will have to investigate that there link of yours.

If you find anything good would appreciate if you let me know.

In my case - it would need to be natural - as I am swopping over to natural-type cosmetics (eg homemade).

Anything that would work on my hair ROCKS.
